Update below the initial post.
Occasionally I get a few phishing attempts via email but lately have found that the very same disgusting dirtbags that are trying to get me to click their email links are also trying to hack into this website. Interesting. And kind of entertaining since I’m taking all the necessary measures to ensure their information is being carefully logged and reported. Everything from IP addresses to the real email addresses behind the spoofs.
Keep trying, hacking pricks. I got nothing better to do than watch you work… and am learning quite a lot from your methods.
Update: Seems like 2 of the MANY IP addresses attempting to hack into my site were already listed by law enforcement agencies and, because I contacted those who know how to deal with hackers, those 2 users have been pegged and busted. Seems these incel-style jerkoffs have a whole lot more dirtbagging going on than just trying to hack into small websites and blogs.
From what I’m told, they’re mainly interested in dumping new ‘pages’ onto the server, usually retail phishing pages that either garner income for nothing (you pay for merch and they are supposed to send it but never do) or they spike ads through their dumped pages, which generate income via Google and other ad apps.
So please, hackers, just keep trying. You’re doing us all a favor.
